Spring in Korea Travel

TOMNTOMS Sindaebang – Seoul Café with Cherry Blossoms View

Tom N Toms Coffee (탐앤탐스) is one of the top-three largest coffeehouse chains in Korea. And if you have ever been to the country, you would have seen their shops popping up in any neighborhood both in and outside the city. In this post, I am going to single out one Tom N Toms Coffee shop I have ever visited in Seoul that offers the most stunning view during the spring season.

Located within a short distance from exit no.1 of Sindaebang station, the Seoul subway line 2, Tom N Toms Sindaebang branch seems to be the largest coffee place in the area. The shop is three stories high with a rooftop terrace. Its facade faces Nangok-ro, the longest road in Sillim-dong that is lined with flowering cherry trees. Although the trees might not be big enough to make a flower tunnel, still walking/driving through the road when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom is very much enjoyable.

Just right in front of the Tom N Toms shop, there are two fully-grown cherry blossom trees which are as tall as the building. Large fluffs of the cherry flowers created such an eye-catching view from the second-floor seating area. And from the rooftop patio, it is the best spot to admire the Nangok road at its finest.

If you are interested in checking out the café during the next spring, don’t forget to walk around the area nearby the Sindaebang station too. It is one hidden spot in Seoul to view the cherry blossoms that less people know about.
